Don't panic!!!!!! If you're ever falling behind quota listen to the advice of Business Coach Steve Dailey!

For most companies quota is a number that is arrived at by looking into a person's capabilities.  It's information, not a threat.  It's what a company wants you to do.

What you want to do is, take control and ownership over 'a' quota on your own.  Because if you don't believe the possible quota achievement, you aren't going to do it.  

It's very rare that you'll get fired for NOT hitting your company's quota.  Year after year if you do not, perhaps you're selling the wrong thing or with the wrong company. 

Don't let your company drive:

- your mindset

- your behavior

- your perception of what you can and can't achieve

 

Bottom Line: Love what you sell, aim high, and achieve your goals for you, not your company!
